One of the hottest rumors about the new device from Apple is the possible width. Will it be thinner or wider? Some rumnors suggest that the 3G iPhone will be thicker because of possible additions like GPS and a larger battery. However, there are also it will be up to 22 percent thinner than the original version. I guess we all have to wait and see to find out if which rumor is true.

Here's another rumor. this time it originates from Asia. Apparently, a Taiwanese manufacturer named Host Optical has claimed that to be manufacturing two smaller touchscreen display. They also claim that least one will be used in the new iPhone. The screens are smaller than the current gen iPhone at 2.8 and 3.2-inches. The Taiwanese manufacturer also heralds that these panels offer do not lose sensitivity over time, is more durable, waterproof, and resistant to high humidities and temperatures.

Here's another juicy rumor. Reuters Italia is reporting that the 3G iPhone will be announced by the Italian carrier TIM on Monday, Tuesday at the latest. The rumors also say that it will be available to the public sometime in June.
